OwlexToday we're introducing Owlex SVG, our second app. It does one thing well: it turns an image — a logo, an icon, a drawing, a photo — into a clean vector you can scale to any size without losing sharpness.
Why we built it
Owlex Builder has an icon studio that turns a picture into an app's launcher icon. To do that, it traces the picture into vector shapes on the phone. People kept asking for that part on its own — to rescue a blurry logo, to get an icon into a design tool, to print something large — so we made it a tool of its own.
What it does
- Pick, snap or share. Choose an image from the gallery, take a photo, or share an image to Owlex SVG from any app.
- See the difference. The original and the vector sit on one picture, split by a line you drag.
- Tune it. Keep 2 to 256 colors, choose how closely to follow the pixels, and remove the plain background around the subject.
- Save it your way. SVG for the web and design tools, VectorDrawable XML for Android projects, or a sharp PNG up to 4096 px. You can also copy the SVG code.
- Come back later. Every conversion is kept with its settings.
Private by design
The tracing runs on your phone's own processor. Owlex SVG doesn't have the internet permission at all, so your images never leave the device.
